Nolsoy
Faroe Islands
Join me on a visual journey to the island of Nolsoy in the Faroe Islands, captured during my four-day visit in January. Just a 20-minute ferry ride from the capital city of Torshavn, Nolsoy revealed its unique charm even in the midst of a fierce snowstorm.
Despite the extreme weather, I managed to photograph and produce a short film that showcases Nolsoy's rugged beauty, resilient spirit, and fascinating wildlife. With a population of about 230 people, this small island offered a glimpse into Faroese life amidst stunning landscapes. The snow-covered terrain, quaint village houses, powerful North Atlantic waves, and diverse wildlife all contributed to an unforgettable experience.
Stay tuned for updates, as I’ll be adding prints from this series soon! In the meantime, enjoy the video and experience the essence of Nolsoy. Follow me on social media for more behind-the-scenes content and updates on new releases.
